Highlife singer Akwaboah, who is signed to Sarkcess Music, has joined the conversation, expressing frustration over similar behaviour from fellow musicians.
In a Facebook post, he voiced disappointment about how some Ghanaian artists act when asked to feature on a song.
He wrote:
“Funny how you want to put your own Ghanaian brother on a song and they keep giving you attitude… but when you send the same song to a bigger non-Ghanaian act, you get the verse back in two days. Ghana, we have a problem.”
Akwaboah did not mention the specific artists he was referring to, leaving fans guessing about who he considers to have such a mindset.
