WASSCE Students Escape Tragedy as School Bus Somersaults in Techiman

About 26 students sitting for the ongoing West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination had a near-fatal experience on Thursday morning, April 7, when the vehicle carrying them crashed in Techiman.
As reported by Atinkafmonline.com, the candidates from Offuman Senior High School were on their way to the exam centre when the bus experienced a brake failure, causing the driver to lose control. The vehicle reportedly flipped several times.
Many of the students suffered varying levels of injury and were rushed to the Holy Family Hospital, which is located close to where the crash occurred.
The Deputy Minister of Education in charge of Basic Education, Mr. Alex Kyeremeh, who was touring the district at the time, visited the injured students at the hospital and settled their medical expenses.
