Ghanaian singer and songwriter Rebecca Acheampomaa Acheampong, known widely as Becca, has disclosed that she will be getting married soon.
In an interview with Melvina Frimpong on Suncity Radio’s Showbiz 971 in Sunyani – monitored by the News Hunter Magazine – Becca described marriage as a beautiful institution and confirmed she is preparing for it.
“When people wish for you to get married, you should embrace it. I will marry soon,” she said.
She also opened up about aspects of her life beyond music, explaining that she believes strongly in timing and never rushes major decisions.
“I don’t rush to do things. I always want to prove things to myself. You need to be happy with what you do, and others will feel it. I believe I’m doing well with my music. I talk about love often in my songs, but carefully and without being vulgar,” she noted.
Becca added that she has sensed how much Ghanaians have missed her and is therefore committed to working even harder. She revealed that more songs and music videos are on the way.
Although she is involved in other ventures, Becca stressed that music will always remain her true passion.
“Music has given me all the money I wanted. It has taken care of me all these years. Learning from the experiences of older musicians helped me avoid their mistakes,” she said.
