Stonebwoy and Sarkodie Set for One Africa Fest in New York

International reggae/dancehall star Stonebwoy and Africa’s rap heavyweight Sarkodie have been announced as performers for the New York edition of the One Africa Fest.

They will share the stage with musicians from Nigeria, Uganda and South Africa during the two-day festival scheduled for Saturday, August 11, to Sunday, August 12, 2018, at the Ford Amphitheater on the Coney Island Boardwalk in New York.

Sarkodie and Stonebwoy represent Ghana as the only Ghanaian acts on the bill. Other performers include Wizkid, Davido, Flavour, Kiss Daniel, Seyi Shay, Tekno, Phyno, Wande Coal, Vanessa Mdee, Diamond Platnumz, Cassper Nyovest, Skales, Niniola and several others.

One Africa Music Fest is regarded as a premier platform for showcasing Africa’s finest talents, with the goal of strengthening the continent’s influence on the global entertainment scene.

The festival aims to help push African music and creatives forward worldwide, boosting both digital and physical distribution while creating new partnership opportunities across the globe.
