Kumawood actor Big Akwes has issued an apology to fellow actor Bill Asamoah after accusing him of having an affair with actress Maame Serwaa.
His apology follows a lawsuit threat from Akuffo-Addo, Prempeh & Co., legal representatives of Bill Asamoah, who demanded that the Thunder TV presenter retract and apologize for the false claims he made on Peace FM weeks earlier.
Speaking on Happy FM — as monitored by Zionfelix.net — Christian Akwasi Asamoah admitted that his comments about Bill Asamoah and Maame Serwaa were untrue. He publicly apologized to Bill Asamoah and his family for the baseless accusations.
On Saturday, September 2, during Peace FM’s entertainment review, Big Akwes stated that he was not among the Kumawood actors who had been romantically involved with Maame Serwaa. He then alleged that Bill Asamoah was the one having a sexual relationship with the actress, who had just turned 18.
His comments came after Maame Serwaa mentioned on “Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix” that Big Akwes was one of the actors who jokingly proposed to her while on set.
