Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has earned what may be the biggest endorsement of his career from award-winning South African rapper Khuli Chana.
Chana hailed the “Choices” hitmaker as “the greatest in the game.” Speaking to StarBuzzGH, he said it was “humbling” to hear Sarkodie mention him on the track Kanta as one of the top rappers on the continent.
The two previously worked together on the remix of Ice Prince’s popular street anthem Aboki, which also featured Wizkid and M.I.
“It’s humbling, especially coming from Sark,” Chana said. “The first time I heard him rap, I was shocked. I couldn’t believe someone on this continent could rap the way Sarkodie does. And for him to acknowledge me on his latest track is incredibly humbling. It shows that all the effort I’ve put into perfecting my flow and my lyrics is paying off. The greatest in the game thinks I’m great—that’s humbling.”
Chana, who is currently working on a new album, revealed that he hopes to collaborate with Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, VVIP, and Okyeame Kwame.
