“Politics Is My Next Mission” – Bulldog

The manager of award-winning dancehall star Shatta Wale, Lawrence Nana Asiama Hanson, popularly known as Bulldog, has announced that he will retire from artist management once he is done working with Shatta Wale.

Speaking in an interview with KSM on The KSM Show last Friday, Bulldog explained that he plans to venture into politics afterward.

When asked why he would no longer manage musicians, he said, “Once I’m finished with Shatta Wale, I’m moving into politics. I believe I’m a vessel meant to serve, and politics is the path I want to use to help others. I’ve been considering it for a long time, so that will be my next mission.”

During the conversation, Bulldog also clarified the meaning behind his nickname, saying it reflects his determined nature – someone who relentlessly pursues what he wants and speaks his mind without fear or favour.

Addressing recent criticisms, including claims from Nii Soul calling him the “worst manager ever” and Iwan describing him as stingy with money, Bulldog listed some of the artists he has worked with over the years. These include 5five, Iwan, Nii Soul, Bertha (Yaa Yaa), Natural Face, VVIP, and currently, Shatta Wale.
