“I Want to Work with Beyoncé” — Becca Reveals

Ghanaian singer Rebecca Akosua Acheampong, known in showbiz as Becca, has expressed her desire to collaborate with globally acclaimed American musician and actress Beyoncé.

In an interview with TV3, the Afrobeat star—who recently joined the Kolophonic record label—revealed that she is aiming to work with more artists beyond the African continent. Becca said a collaboration with Beyoncé would be a dream come true, largely because she admires her strength and influence as a woman.

“There are definitely a number of artists I hope to work with. We’ve already reached out to a few, and with my new label based in England and South Africa, we’re exploring several possibilities.

“I would love to work with Sam Smith or Ed Sheeran because they’re my favourites at the moment. But if it has to be a woman, then I’m choosing Beyoncé because she embodies powerful womanhood,” she shared.

Becca has previously collaborated with artists such as Nigeria’s MI, Ice Prince, and Uhuru of ‘Khona’ fame.
